An old dormitory complex, consisting of four buildings, was converted into a campus for the Haruv Institution. The campus brings together nine different organizations providing care for children who are victims of neglect and sexual abuse. Each organization within the campus was given a unique program tailored to its specific needs and the nature of its users.
The campus design, however, emphasized the relationships between the organizations in their daily work, aiming to create synergy that maximizes the benefits of physical proximity while ensuring that they do not interfere with one another.
Accessibility improvements include the addition of elevators and staircases. The building facades were treated with a design language chosen to suit the character of the campus and its users. Level changes and the utilization of buried spaces on the base floor were implemented, along with modifications and adaptations of entrances and circulation paths to fit the programmatic requirements.
